So today was the first day of SDCC 2014, not including the preview night.
We managed to get there a little ahead of schedule so we got to spend basically the entire day there. Though, as soon as we entered into the main convention hall, they basically herded everyone upstairs for, like, no reason at all? I mean, we were able to go back down, but that was just weird. It might have been because the show floor wasn’t open yet, not too sure.
We both had our 3DS systems with us, and I’m only affixing “systems” to the end because trying to pluralize 3DS sounds terrible. The main reason for this was to see how many street passes we could gather over the course of the day. You max out at ten at a time, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to just check at the end of the day and get, like, thousands of street passes all at once, and the fact that there’s the cap means I probably missed out on a bunch. Sam checked his a lot more frequently than I did, and he managed to get a special notice for getting 100 in a day. I also made note of the pedometer reading on mine once we got back, logging a total of 12,900 steps.
It’s nice when somebody else types out the entire day for you.
